Riverfront

As part of our ongoing commitment to fostering vibrant, healthy communities, The 78 is proud to temporarily activate a portion of its scenic riverfront with Bridge Sports, the South Loop’s new premier sports park. This interim activation provides access to a wide range of recreational amenities as our long-term plans for the 62-acre development are finalized.

Spanning 5 acres, Bridge Sports features a professional-grade soccer turf field, baseball and softball fields, 10 pickleball courts and two tennis courts. The facility offers a variety of programming to engage players of all skill levels, including organized leagues in pickleball, tennis, softball, flag football, football and soccer. Certified instructors lead clinics to help players improve their skills, while open play sessions allow participants to drop in and join games spontaneously. Courts are available for individual reservations or private events, making Bridge Sports a versatile destination for both casual and competitive play. Welcome to Chicago's new field of dreams.
